Hey frisbee players,
The first week of UQ League will be starting this Wednesday at 7:00pm. The teams have been sorted, and plans have been made. Each team has it's own shirt colour, so please bring that coloured shirt down to the game. If you don't have a team yet or you're worried about the team you're on, you can email us at uqultimate@hotmail.com
Due to the floods we've been having some troubles with the fields, so for the first week of the season, we're going to play disc in the dark. Disc in the dark is like regular ultimate, with glowsticks and light up frisbees. Don't wear cleats or tagged shoes. Because we're playing the dark, we don't want to risk injury.
The location will be at the fields across from Oval 7, on the corner of Coleridge Road and Carmody Road. There will be a section with lamps on the field where we will meet up before the games. (MAP)
Following ultimate, we'll be have some beverages and food at the fields. We'll have some soft drinks, but if you'd like to imbibe you should catch a bus or get a lift.
If you have any glow in the dark or light up paraphernalia, wear it down. We can get our rave on.
